We explore some of the most exciting, isolated and stunning places on earth, such as: Flinders Ranges, Lake Eyre, Coober Pedy, Kings Canyon, Uluru, Kata Tjuta and much more.

We become like family on our Real Desert Adventures; everyone muscles in and works together, collecting firewood and preparing/cooking meals around the campfire at night. And remember there are NO HOTELS. We sleep in the REAL Australian way in our SWAGS, looking up at the stars.

DAY 1:

Early start, leaving Adelaide. Head north through South Australian farming land, enjoying views of the Spencer Gulf and passing through country towns such as Port Pirie and Quorn. After lunch we start heading into the Flinders Ranges, enjoying the beautiful scenery and ancient landscape. We explore Wilpena Pound with a view of the awesome natural amphitheatre. We make camp and prepare a real outback meal and spend the night under the stars in the REAL Australian way. SWAGS!! (L) (D)

DAY 2:

Roll your swags up and start the morning with brekkie. Then we continue through the Flinders, the corridors of time, a spectacular journey through the ancient landscape. Our journey north continues; through mining towns, following the Oodnadatta Track and the Old Ghan Railway, passing many old settlements and beautiful Australian DESERT! We travel to the edges of Lake Eyre, Australia?s largest salt lake and view beautiful mound springs, after which we make a REAL Desert bush camp. (B) (L) (D)

DAY 3:

We continue our journey along the rusty roads of the Oodnadatta Track having a break in South Australia?s smallest town, William Creek, visiting their unique pub. We hit the road again, driving through the largest cattle station in the world, Anna Creek Station. We cross the Dingo Fence, the longest fence on earth, before heading to the Opal capital of the world ? Coober Pedy. There will be free time to explore the town; do some noodling, visit the kangaroo orphanage and see some Aboriginal Art. After exploring the underground way of life on a private tour, we enjoy dinner at a local pizza bar. That night we sleep like the locals in an underground bunkhouse. (B) (L) Dinner = buy your own pizza

DAY 4:

We start our adventure north on the Stuart Highway, passing working Opal fields, road trains and vast areas of the Australian outback, entering the northern territory and heading towards Kings Canyon. Finish a long day on the road, camping on a remote cattle station. MEALS (B) (L) (D)
