Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru

We pick you up outside your accommodation at 5.45am and drive through the beautiful outback to Uluru, viewing Mount Connor on the way. If you’re starting the tour in Ayers Rock we will pick you up from the Outback Pioneer Hotel (Ayers Rock Resort), or from the Ayers Rock Airport.

First stop at Uluru National Park is the Cultural Centre for an insight into the unique culture of the local Aboriginal people. We then head to Uluru for your choice of the following experiences:

  • 2 guided walks at Uluru (Mala & Mutitjulu Waterhole) and Cultural Centre visit
  • Full 10km Uluru base walk (unguided), Cultural Centre visit not included
  • Uluru climb (unguided, if open), Cultural Centre visit not included (please note: Uluru is a sacred site and the Anangu people ask visitors to respect their culture by not climbing the rock)

This evening we watch a spectacular Uluru sunset while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine. Then on to our campsite for hot showers, a hearty meal and a night sleeping in a swag under millions of outback stars or in one of our permanent tents. (Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 2: Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta and Kings Creek Station

Up early for a spectacular Uluru sunrise and healthy breakfast. We then head to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) for a guided 5.5km walk through the Valley of the Winds, followed by lunch. Next we drive to Kings Creek Station to relax and enjoy an outback BBQ. Tonight, after a hot shower, we will be sleeping in a safari tent. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

*Day 3: Kings Canyon *

After breakfast, we drive to Kings Canyon for a guided 6km Canyon Rim Walk in one of the most spectacular areas of the outback. Visit the natural Amphitheatre, North and South Walls, and the exotic Garden of Eden along the way. After lunch at Kings Creek Station, you will be picked up by the AAT Kings coach and transferred to Ayers Rock Resort. (Breakfast, Lunch included)
